Though these disruptions, strokes of colour and shape transfers appear, awakening ghostly spectres within the images.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><br \/>\nThe glitch-induced image mirrors a sense of disassociation. Within this body of work I would like to question our relationship to our image and the impact of societal expectations on women\u2019s bodies. How in the age of social media, images both liberate and alienate us.<br \/>\nI attempt to evoke a sense of vertigo, the shifting space between our physical and non physical form.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><br \/>\nCan we rethink our image without rethinking the tools used to shape it ? How can we stop seeing ourselves as dysfunctional and allow our doubles to appear ?<br \/>\nThis is an attempt to leave the trace of an inner landscape that burns within.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><br \/>\n\u201cGlitch\u201d was originally a term used by radio and television technicians.
